Point Reyes National Seashore

We slept in a bit - the neighborhood Roosters started calling around 7:30a. Before heading to Point Reyes, we stopped for breakfast at Baker + Cook in Sonoma. So yummy!

On our way, we stopped in Point Reyes Station and picked up some items for lunch.

There are great things to see in the northern portion of the park but for this trip, we headed south. Our first first stop - Cypress Tree Tunnel. These beauties were planted around 1930!

Continuing through the park, we rounded a corner and the view was breathtaking! So, we stopped and enjoyed our lunch with a view!

Next stop - Drakes Beach. Elephant Seals dotted the beach, sunning themselves. Beautiful sandstone cliffs backdrop the wide beach.

Last stop - South Beach Overlook and the Lighthouse! Watched Peregrine falcons glide through the air and waves crash against the rocks below.
